What do I do if my loved one is ill?
Let the nurses or other authorities know that you have chosen a funeral home. They will notify us when your loved one passes and will give us your information. We are so easy to work with, that it is not necessary to make arrangements before they pass away.
What is the process if my loved one passes away in a hospital or care facility?
1) Tell the hospital or care faclities that you've chosen a funeral home.
2) Make an appointment to meet with us. All details and plans will be discussed in the appointment.
How long does it take to receive death certificates?
The county typically takes about 2 weeks to process death certificates.
If there is a pending toxicology or investigation, it can take up to 6 months. We will call you as soon as Vital Records completes them.
How long does it take to receive the cremains of my loved one?
If there are no special needs or circumstances, the cremation process is typically finished within a week. We call you as soon the cremation is completed.

What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday, from 8am 'til 5pm. However, we will pick up anyone who has passed away 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I submit an obituary in the newspaper?
Eaton Family submits a complimentary death notice in the newspaper, but we don't handle the paid obituaries.
